New Pricing Announced for ABMS® Patient Safety Improvement Program
EVANSTON, Ill. - August 6, 2007 - American Board of Medical Specialties and HealthStream have announced a price change for the ABMS® Patient Safety Improvement Program which was released in July. The new pricing will make it easier and more cost-effective for ABMS Member Boards to incorporate this program as part of their efforts to improve patient safety.

The self-paced, Web-based program focuses on identifying and analyzing errors, determining improvements based on best practices and implementing changes. With a robust curriculum and performance improvement activities, the program provides an educational experience that incorporates key patient safety topics, methods of assessment, case scenarios as learning examples and improvement activities for individual physician practices. The program supports initiatives including The Joint Commission National Patient Safety Goals, the Institute for Healthcare Improvement 5 Million Lives Campaign and the WHO Collaborating Centre for Patient Safety Solutions Nine Life-Saving Patient Safety Solutions.
